Midi, Maxi, Mini. Lets talk skirts.

Skirts....now that that summer has finally arrived, I can wear one of my favourite summer items. A skirt!

I love a good summer skirt, midi, maxi, pleated, pencil (I draw the line a mini) I love them. They're such a versatile piece to dress up or down.

Pleated skirts give shape to rectangle figures creating curves and a waist. A pleated skirt will also emphasise an hourglass shape beautifully.

Brightly coloured skirts will bring balance to an inverted triangle figure especially when worn with a darker coloured top.

I wear my skirts with t-shirts and a denim or leather biker jacket, this will also help to create a waist line for rectangle figures and further emphasis an hourglass.  To smarten up your skirt add a blazer, perfect for inverted triangle figures.

Team your skirt with trainers, sandals, ankle boots or heels the choice is yours.

There are lots of lovely skirts on the high street at the moment, here a few of my favourites.

This beautiful skirt come with a matching top and would be perfect for a wedding. Then wear with a black or white t-shirt and flat sandals for a more dressed down look.

Who doesn't love broderie anglaise for summer?

This would be amazing on holiday to take you from beach to bar.

This Topshop midi length skirt is on trend with a print clash.

Warehouse do a classic floral skirt so well.

Finally a real statement, stand out from the crowd skirt, this yellow leather skirt is stunning.
